Deputy Chairman of the DPP Party Board of Trustees Gerindra Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno admitted that he received the aspirations of the people while attending the commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Gerindra Party in Banten. Sandiaga will report these aspirations to General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto.
The commemoration of Gerindra’s 15th anniversary was held at Griya Mahesa Field, Serang City, Banten Province, Sunday (19/2/2023). Sandiaga I wish Prabowo always healthy.
“Together, we pray for Pak Prabowo to be healthy and receive the blessing of Allah. I entrust the economy, we must continue to boost it. The economy must get better,” Sandiaga Uno said through a loudspeaker to sympathizers and cadres of the Gerindra Party at the location.
Sandiaga Uno asked the participants who were present about jobs, living expenses, groceries and basic needs. The people’s answers will be reported by Sandiaga to Prabowo.
“Job opportunities are still difficult? I’ll report to Mr. Prabowo later. The cost of living is expensive? God willing, with Gerindra, we’ll make sure prices are affordable. Cooking oil is available but the price is expensive. God willing, we will pay attention to the cost of living, the economy will be better in the future, jobs will be created . Everyone gets a blessing,” said Sandiaga Uno.
Sandiaga Uno said that his presence at the event was due to Desmond’s invitation as host and the Gerindra Daily Chairperson Dasco and Gerindra Secretary General Ahmad Muzani.
“Of course we are enthusiastic because we are so excited, but there are some homework. Because earlier I heard there was input for all of us,” said Sandiaga Uno.
Sandiaga said that the public conveyed that the economy must be ensured to grow more, create jobs and the prices of basic commodities must be stable if Prabowo and Gerindra win in the 2024 election. Sandiaga wants Prabowo and Gerindra to be a solution to the problems of people’s burdens of life.
“This is input for us and all those who are struggling, later it will be conveyed to Pak Prabowo too that these are the aspirations conveyed by the community. And we must be present to provide solutions and be present to visit for the people,” said Sandiaga Uno.
Regarding the issue of joining PPP so that he could be nominated as a presidential or vice presidential candidate, Sandiaga admitted that he was waiting for a decision from the leadership of the Gerindra Party. Sandiaga emphasized that he obeyed the leadership’s directions.
“That’s the domain of my leaders, those who have more authority, I just work, Pak Prabowo assigned me to maintain friendly relations, Pak Prabowo is very statesman, that all are considered friends, to build a united Indonesia. As a cadre, I am obedient, upright, if there is other directions, the leadership will decide,” said Sandiaga.
The former Deputy Governor of DKI also confirmed Dasco’s statement regarding Gerindra’s chances of success. “Hopefully what Mr. Dasco said earlier can provide an opportunity for us, success for the Gerindra Party,” said Sandiaga.
