State Blood Transfusion Center provides service in the new General Hospital of Querétaro.
The Querétaro Secretary of Health reported that the State Blood Transfusion Center (CETS) provides service in its new facilities, located in the new General Hospital.
The CETS It has a distribution that allows a continuous flow that favors the increase in productivity and improvement at the service of the donor, in addition to the fact that the new facilities provide comfortable and safe spaces for both the staff and the donors, as well as the increase in the ability to receive them.
The new General Hospital of Querétaro has its address on the street José Antonio García Jimeno number 1000, colonia Hacienda Gardens, in the capital of Queretaro.
Those who wish to donate blood should go from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at 4:00 p.m.
The requirements to donate are:
• Present valid official identification with photograph
• Be over 18 years of age and under 65
• Weigh more than 50 kilos
• Eight hour fast
• Not having facial delineations, acupuncture, tattoos, or body piercings in the last 12 months
• In case of using ornaments on the tongue, nose, lips and / or genitals, remove them 72 hours before going to the donation.
• Not having laser hair removal in the last 12 months.
• Not having had operations in the last six months.
• Not having had a delivery, cesarean section, abortion, curettage, or breastfeeding in the past six months.
• Not have been vaccinated in the last 30 days.
• Not having taken any type of medicine in the last eight days.
