(ANSA) – MILAN, 05 MAY – “Against threats to the Jews and against the genocide in Gaza” is the sign with which the Green city councilors Tommaso Gorini and Francesca Cucchiara presented themselves today in Piazza Cordusio in Milan, on the occasion of the demonstration against anti-Semitism organized by my Action colleague, Daniele Nahum. Sign for which they were challenged. The two councilors were together with two other people. “They teased the participants” explained the president of the Jewish Community Walker Meghnagi, who asked the garrison to move a few meters while Digos identified the two councilors in a normal check. Gorini, before the start of the demonstration, underlined the need to have “non-divisive” squares, our feeling that there is a dangerous attempt, that of separating and using anti-Semitism instrumentally. If you can say that you are against anti-Semitism only those who support Zionist colonialism, I absolutely disagree – he explained – but at the same time we believe it is right to be in all the streets”. Half an hour later, just as Nahum spoke, some kids on the opposite side started protesting. “And I told them to go away” explained Meghnagi who was nevertheless happy with the demonstration which “went very well. Practically all the parties were there and I thank them. The councilors then spoke from the stage. I gave the floor to Gorini having invited transversally all political parties”, said Nahum who however reiterated on the microphone that “no genocide is underway in Gaza”. (ANSA).
