On Monday, December 13, the presentation of the books with the research of the speakers of the Congress of Education in Empirical Sciences in Engineering Careers (ECEFI) and the Forum of Creativity, Research and Transcursive Logic was held in the auditorium of the Faculty. Each of the researchers received a copy of the publications.
The event began with the welcoming words of Ing. Guillermo Cuadrado, who reported that “The book production process began during the 2020 quarantine, due to the Covid 19 pandemic”, and who then referred to a great loss that occurred last April: “We want to remember Dr. Bruno Difonso, author of one of the chapters in Section IV, which corresponds to the Legal Forum, a member of the Legislation Chair, of the Mendoza Region, whose unfortunate and unexpected death occurred last April, motivated by this new disease ”.
Later, Dr. María Elena Sottano, dedicated concepts to the memory of Dr. Difonso, about whom she said: “I had spectacular conditions, as a person, as a partner and as a professional”.
The Dean, Esp. Ing. José Balacco, closed the speeches by highlighting the importance of the Faculty’s scientific outreach activities and also dedicated a few words to the memory of Difonso.
Subsequently, the copies of books were delivered to the teaching researchers present, after which an agape was shared.
Activities with a track record
Every two years, since 2010, the Department of Basic Sciences and the Research Group in Mathematics Applied to Engineering and Management (IEMI), organize the ECEFI Congresses. Regarding the Creativity, Research and Transcursive Logic Forums, they are annual, began in 2017 and have the participation and advice of Dr. Dante Salatino, creator of the Transcursive Logic.
Both initiatives are intended to provide options for teachers and researchers in Engineering Sciences to integrate into research and development activities.
Another goal is to encourage scientific writing and increase the number of writers to contribute to the scientific, technological and cultural development of the Nation, in accordance with what is required by the Higher Education Law.
