Governor of West Java (West Java) Ridwan Kamil (RK) was present at the Bogor Street Festival Cap Go Meh (CGM) 2023. In that moment, Ridwan Kamil say goodbye to the people of Bogor, because his term as governor will expire at the end of this year.
The expression of farewell was conveyed by RK in his remarks at the Cap Go Meh Festival in Bogor City. RK said that his term of office will end in September. He then said goodbye to the residents present at the location.
“This year is my last year as Governor of West Java, I was appointed in September 2018 and will end in September 2023. Therefore, on this occasion I also ask to say goodbye. So that the photos are good I ask my wife to accompany me to say goodbye to the residents of Bogor City,” said RK while calling his wife, Atalia Praratya up to the podium.
“Pak Ridwan Kamil has worked optimally according to our standards in building West Java, especially the City of Bogor. That’s it, hopefully we’ll still get along even though I’m no longer governor. Keep greeting when you meet and I make sure you give yourself a selfie, the important thing is don’t scratch your hands together ladies, keep your distance and so on,” added RK accompanied by his wife.
RK then conveyed his participation in development in Bogor City. One of them is the design of the Bogor City square.
“Yesterday we inaugurated the most beautiful lake, Situ Gede. Previously, I personally designed the Bogor City Square next to the train station. We also present the work of the West Java Provincial Government in the form of a creative center for young people in Bogor City. We also built a hospital building for health,” said RK.
“And God willing, this year Rp. 50 billion will be for the Otista Bridge so that Bogor City residents will no longer have traffic jams, and we will also be presenting the construction of a new high school later,” he added.
“We want to be leaders who provide the widest possible benefits as long as we are given power by Allah,” added RK again.
