“The Dynamo Football Club expresses its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Oleksandr Radchenko,” the statement said.
Earlier, the death of Radchenko with reference to the ex-football player of Dynamo and the national team of Ukraine Viktor Leonenko was reported by the sports portal Caterpillar .
Radchenko started his career in Mariupol. He played for Dynamo, Transcarpathia, Dnipro, Kryvbas and Volyn. He spent the best parts of his career at Dynamo (became the champion of Ukraine in the 1997/98 season, then won the Ukrainian Cup) and Dnipro (125 matches, two goals). The defender ended his career in 2009, after which he worked as a children’s coach at the Dynamo sports school.
From 2002 to 2005, he played for the Ukrainian national team, in total he played 17 matches.
