He had taken possession of the ball and he took out his pocketknife after receiving threats but the blow “it was just an accident”: is the version of 10 year old boy that last Sunday evening in Giugliano in Campania, in the province of Napolislightly injured the leg of a thirteen-year-old who was playing football with his friends.
The boy showed up at the police station accompanied by a lawyer and his parents and made spontaneous statements in the presence of the military personnel and the prosecutor of the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office. According to his story, that evening, while he was near the soccer field behind Piazza Gramsci, he saw some boys playing. He wanted the ball and when he found it within range he took possession of it snatching it from the hands of one of the boys. To the request, which he said was characterized by threats, to return it he took out the small knife that he says he found on the street to aim it at a kid who wanted to recover the ball. At this point he would have received a push from behind and, overbalancing himself, he would have involuntarily hit the thirteen-year-old in the leg, before fleeing and throwing the weapon into the street.
