Aprilia Racing racer Aleix Espargaro revealed the reason for his rampage and hitting his head Franco Morbidelli Of MotoGP Qatar 2023.

Aleix was the protagonist in a series of racing sessions at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, last weekend. He received a penalty for hitting Morbidelli’s head in the second free practice session (FP2), Saturday (19/11).

Aleix Espargaro and Morbidelli touched several times during the free practice session. After touching each other again, Aleix shook his head.

Morbidelli and Aleix then engaged in conversation while their motorbike was still moving slowly. A few moments later, Aleix looked angry and hit Morbidelli on the head, who was still wearing a helmet.

Aleix then explained the chronology of the embarrassing incident with Morbidelli. He admitted he was wrong but his frustration was triggered by Morbidelli’s dangerous actions.

“What bothered me the most was that in the conversation he brought up my family and my children. There he crossed a sacred boundary for me,” Aleix Espargaro was quoted as saying. Crash.

Not only that, Aleix Espargaro then expressed his complaints on Instagram. He revealed the reason he was furious with the Yamaha racer.

“My opinion has not changed. Obviously I was wrong and my exit from the race was a disaster. But I can assure you I had no intention of hitting his helmet and just wanted to push him away,” said Aleix Espargaro on his personal Instagram.

“If you only look at the last part and the sequence of events, I deserve sanctions and that is very bad behavior,” Aleix added.

However, Aleix Espargaro also called Morbidelli a brutal racer and often collided with other riders on the track.

“It’s unfair because Franco has been on the circuit for a year and a half, and almost every race he annoys one or more other drivers.”

“Last week he called Marc Marquez like a dog in his hands. Yes, my reaction was very wrong but it’s no use if you just see the last part of his series of bad behavior,” explained Aleix Espargaro.

Aleix’s brutal action by hitting Morbidelli’s helmet resulted in sanctions from the FIM Stewards. The Spanish racer was fined 10 thousand euros and dropped six positions at the start of the Qatar MotoGP race, Sunday (19/11).

Aleix’s bad luck didn’t stop there. He suffered a broken leg after colliding with Miguel Oliveira in the Sprint Race and was unable to race on Sunday.
