William Church was driving on the Arizona Highway, also known as State Route 87, when he noticed a strange figure.
A chilling image of a ghostly figure has left the internet spooked. The video comes from a truck driver’s dash cam that shows a mysterious figure appearing on the side of a deserted road. According to a Fox News report, the incident took place in Arizona and netizens began theorizing a likelihood of a supernatural event behind the mysterious shadow. The truck reportedly belonged to a man identified as William Church, who was apparently driving his vehicle on Arizona Route 87.
The incident was recorded on Saturday March 11, when William noticed a bright flash in his dashcam and he believed the blinking figure might really be a ‘ghost’. The mysterious item was spotted around 2.30am as it passed the 200 mile marker on the highway. It would be located between Payson and Phoenix, Arizona. William told the portal that there were no other cars around when the incident happened.
He revealed that the translucent figure looked exactly like a person standing on the pavement. He said: “You can see the lines through the legs that make the figure. »
The clip which was shared on YouTube by the news agency gained popularity online. Several YouTube users were shocked and expressed their emotions in the comments section. One user commented, “They’re over there,” another joined, “It’s too centralized in one place. Sinister! Sinister! Another added: “Yeah I saw him…yes he has a very neat ghostly appearance. One user also wrote, “This is for real I think. »
Meanwhile, a section of the internet has also speculated that the figure might just be a deception of the light source or an animal or a hitchhiker. Some also claimed that the video could simply be edited. Notably, the highway was built in 1927 and spans 272.66 miles. The 96-year-old highway is reported to have been the source of many fatal car accidents, apparently leading locals to believe the road may be haunted. Viewers of the comments section attested to the claim to have witnessed numerous supernatural activities on Arizona’s highways and adjacent public spaces.
