A noticeable return
Friday, February 10, Proenza Schouler presented a parade like no other: that of its 20th anniversary. For this anniversary, the designer duo Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough imagined a refined show, featuring a chic and functional wardrobe. For the occasion, they invited Chloë Sevigny to open the parade, dressed in a belted black jacket, a white shirt, a long leather skirt and black thigh-high boots. Spotted by a fashion editor in New York’s East Village when she was just 17, she had a meteoric rise in the modeling business. Acclaimed for her sharp sense of style, she was one of the most iconic it-girls of the 2000s. After abandoning the catwalks in favor of her acting career, she appeared in the Mugler spring-summer music video at the alongside Bella Hadid and Megan Thee Station. A remarkable return, therefore.
