Israel was experiencing severe pain in his left leg, which he thought was due to sclerosis, so he went to a rheumatologist in Mexico City.

“He walked to the airport and came back in a wheelchair… It was a very rapid deterioration, in the blink of an eye, it totally changed his life. It was difficult for him to breathe, he had a lot of swelling in his legs, especially the left one, which caused him a lot of pain, he helped himself walk with a cane. After all, they hadn’t told us it was cancer.”

What is sarcoma, cancer by Israel Vázquez?

The National Cancer Institute details that sarcoma is a type of cancer that begins in the bones and tissues such as cartilage or muscles; there are different types, depending on the area where it forms.
