At least two people were stabbed and a third shot wounded at the end of an eventful evening in Washington on Saturday night where Trump supporters staged a rally that escalated into violence with counter-protesters, reported the Daily Mail.
Videos of confrontations showing members of the security forces trying to calm things down between the two factions circulated on social networks in the evening.
The “Million MAGA March”, MAGA standing for “Make America Great Again”, united thousands of Trump supporters from across the country who still have not digested the electoral defeat of the American president, who must leave office official on January 20.
They had gathered in front of the Supreme Court of the United States, because it rejected, Friday, a lawsuit by the state of Texas which sought to invalidate the results of the presidential election.
