At least six people have been killed and 25 others injured in two shootings in the United States. This is reported by the police in the city of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) and in Chattanooga, in the state of Tennessee. No one has yet been arrested for either incident.
In Philadelphia, several gunmen opened fire on a busy nightlife street with many bars and restaurants. Two men and a woman were killed. Surveillance footage shows people running down the street in panic, presumably after the shots were fired.
“There were hundreds of people here who enjoyed it like every weekend,” said the chief of the local police. One of the perpetrators was shot at by an officer, but it is not clear whether he was also hit.
