The police are investigating bullet holes that were found at a cafe in Eindhoven. The Woenselse Market has been closed off and the Forensic Investigation Department is investigating.
Police received a report Friday morning from a passerby that there were bullet holes in the building. It concerns café Enjoy on the Woenselse Markt. According to a 112 correspondent, there are at least seven bullet holes in the wall and windows. These were covered with black tape.
Part of the cafe has been cordoned off with ribbon. The manager of the cafe got into a car with two detectives, it is not clear whether this is an interrogation.
It is not yet clear why the shooting took place. Among other things, trace research is being carried out and camera images are being viewed. The cafe is currently closed and it is not clear when it will be allowed to reopen.
