New York suffered several shootings on Monday night throughout the city in a span of six hours that left at least one dead and 13 injured, according to authorities. The mortal victim was 15 years old.
The teenager and a 30-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 123rd Street in the East Harlem neighborhood, according to police.
The minor, who was not identified, was shot in the torso and pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.. The other man was hit in the right knee and was stable.
Earlier in the night, around 8 p.m., four people were injured after a shooting in Bushwick, Brooklyn, according to deputies.

Three of the wounded were taken to hospitals and one was taken to the nearby police station of the 83rd police station. Her conditions were unknown.
Police are investigating the shooting, which is possibly related to street gangs, according to a source quoted by the New York Post.
On Staten Island, two men were shot shortly after 8 p.m. near 231 Steuben St., not far from Park Hill Houses.
A 19-year-old was hospitalized after being shot in the arm and a 20-year-old was taken to the same facility with a leg injury. Your injuries are not considered serious. The shooter fled to a nearby wooded area.
And in the Bronx, after 11 p.m., a man was shot near East 157th Street and Courtlandt Avenue, according to authorities.
“The sun is up, so the guns are gone,” a Brooklyn police officer told the Post.
