Surely you have happened to taste even a small piece of it, although for scientists, most of us do not really know what it is. It is a much loved food used for all kinds of recipes, sweet but also savory. What are we talking about? Some fruit. Or to be more precise of some types of foods that are well known as fruits but which in reality are not.
To say it is the science that shows several errors we make in common language. Who doesn’t know the classic apple or pear? Tasty and juicy, these delicacies of nature have different properties and are recognized by all as the traditional fruits par excellence. However, experts point out, calling them fruit is wrong. There is a long list of “false fruit”Which we use on a daily basis.
At least once we ate one without knowing it, that’s what science says
For example, the apple is a false fruit. The part that we throw away from the apple is the real fruit. Therefore, the core is scientifically the fruit while the pulp represents its receptacle. The pear also belongs to the category of false fruits, following the same logic as the apple. The core is the real fruit while the edible part, or the pulp, is only its receptacle.
And again, the fig. Commonly called fruit it is actually an inflorescence. Rich in numerous vitamins such as A, B1 and B2, the fig is recommended for those with intestinal problems. The pineapple is also part of the false fruits, consisting of the numerous fruits that compose it, or the parts with a yellow or green color. Finally, the list also includes pomegranate and strawberry.
