Earlier, the airport had reported that the Irish airline would cancel 28 outward and return flights on Saturday, but that number has now been increased to 50.
Moreover, it is now also clear that at least 46 flights will be canceled by Ryanair on Sunday. This includes outward and return flights to Venice, Riga, Tangier, Nîmes, Biarritz and Seville.
The strike only affects Ryanair flights operated by Belgian pilots. Other airline flights will take place as scheduled. Travelers are advised to regularly check the Ryanair and airport websites to see if anything has changed in their situation.
Ryanair is obliged to offer an alternative flight free of charge to affected customers. If it does not fit, the customer can request a refund.
The social conflict at Ryanair is, among other things, about higher wages, after surrenders during the corona pandemic. There are also problems with rest times.
