At least 69 people have died in lightning during India’s monsoon storms

At least 69 people have died in lightning during India’s monsoon storms, and the victims of the 11 storms were surprised by the death when they took selfies, police said on Monday.

On Sunday, 42 people died in Uttar Pradesh and another 20 in Rajasthan, in the north of the country.
