At least 32 people have been killed in Madagascar after bandits set houses on fire, Reuters news agency reported.

It happened in the night from Thursday to Friday in an area about 75 kilometers north of the capital Antananarivo. The Minister of Defense speaks of dozens of dead and wounded who have been treated in hospitals.
