At least 22 dead in Greek migrant boat accident capsizes, search and rescue activities continue
CCTV News Client News On November 3, local time, at least 22 people were killed when a migrant ship capsized in the sea east of Athens, the capital of Greece, in the early morning of November 1, according to Greek media.
The victims included 11 men, 6 women and 5 children. At the moment, 34 people are still missing and only 12 have been rescued. Among the rescues, 6 people are from Egypt, 3 people from Afghanistan, 2 people from Iran and the identity of the other person is to be determined. Rescue by the Greek Coast Guard is still ongoing.
