BAGHDAD, July 12 (Xinhua) – At least 20 people perished in a massive fire on Monday in a hospital treating COVID-19 patients in Dhi Qar province, southern Iraq , according to the official Iraqi news agency INA.
The massive fire that erupted in the evening affected the quarantine center for COVID-19 patients at Al-Hussein Hospital, located in the provincial capital Nasiriya, some 375 km south of Baghdad, INA said. .
Firefighters are working to put out the blaze, the agency added. End
