NEW YORK – At least two people were killed in a fiery crash in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, early Tuesday.
The incident left a car embedded around a tree in a wooded area, prosecutors say.
Images from our helicopter showed a severely damaged vehicle that was found on its side in trees after the crash near Ridgewood and Bloomfield avenues around 5 am A strong police response was evident.
Some streets in the area were closed for hours, and were expected to be closed for much of the morning, as authorities investigated.
No information was immediately available on casualties or a possible cause of the crash.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says its investigation is ongoing.
