However, the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) continues to highlight the potential spread and symptoms of monkeypox. The reason is, the symptoms of monkeypox are at risk of being confused with other diseases such as bacterial infections of the skin (impetigo).

The head of the Monkeypox (monkeypox) Task Force PB IDI, Dr. Hanny Nilasari, SpKK, explained that monkeypox patients generally experience lesions on the skin that are close together. The symptoms were accompanied by a fever of more than 38 degrees Celsius, headaches, and a series of other symptoms.
