Mimie Mathy, here in 2014, made her return to the Enfoirés this Friday, March 3, and received a vibrant tribute.

FUCKERS – “ It was wonderful ! I still cry! » The star performer of Josephine, guardian angel was moved to tears after a surprise tribute from the Enfoirés troupe, on the occasion of their annual charity show, broadcast this Friday, March 3 on TF1. After a year of absence for health reasons, Mimie Mathy had taken the cap of mistress of ceremonies, to the delight of the public and Internet users.

The surprise took place at the very end of the show. Mimie Mathy then sang with Patrick Bruel, Patrick Fiori and Lorie Pester “I love him to death” by Francis Cabrel. Until suddenly, the lyrics of the song change on the teleprompter. “We all have an angel near us today, you’ve been in our lives for more than 30 years, we love you to death”, then begins to sing the troop in honor of this emblematic figure of the program created by Coluche for the benefit of the Restos du Coeur.

Reunion with Garou

At first, Mimie Mathy first tries to hold back her tears, then she turns around and sees the whole Enfoirés troupe with T-shirts « I love Mimie ». And, icing on the cake, the public gets up and chants his name. It was enough for the actress to burst into tears. A sequence that moved Internet users on Twitter just as much, as you can see in the tweets below.

During the evening, some spectators and fans of the actress also spotted this quick kiss exchanged between the actress and the singer Garou. Very accomplices, the two artists regularly play lovers on the Enfoirés stage. “If he asked me for the moon, I would go get it for him,” had for example slipped Mimie Mathy before the issue of 2011.

Imagined by Coluche in 1986, the Enfoirés show immediately became an unmissable event when it was launched in 1989, and especially when it took the form of a traveling tour all over France three years later. In 2020, the performance brought in more than 8.5 million euros for Restos du Coeur.
