“Last Tuesday we concluded a social agreement with the management,” says Leen Vanderhulst. “96 percent of the employees have approved this agreement. In addition to the statutory severance payment, the dismissed people also receive an additional premium. This depends on the number of years of service with the company. An employment cell is set up for employees who lose their job. We are satisfied about the agreement reached, but we still regret Commscope’s decision to leave Kessel-Lo,” concludes Leen Vanderhulst of the Christian union.
