Today Warren Buffettcalled “The World’s Greatest Investor” and “The Yamaha Oracle,” becomes the 94 years old.
At this age, he has already sorted out who will receive his inheritance, although given the sure hand with which he runs Berkshire Hathaway, it will be some time before he passes the reins on to other hands. To date, he has donated more than $50 billion.

62 years earlier, when he was 32, Buffett invested a small amount in Berkshire Hathaway, which at the time was a textile factory. Since then, he has gone through Himalayan highs and lows in investing as he carefully and pragmatically considers every move he makes.
In 2024 alone, Berkshire Hathaway’s stock has risen more than 27 percent.

The article quoted Borders Books CEO George Jones as saying that the only other living people named in so many book titles were US presidents, world political figures and the Dalai Lama. Buffett said his personal favorite is a collection of his essays called The Essays of Warren Buffettwhich he describes as “a sequential rearrangement of ideas from my annual report letters.”
Warren Buffett had a plan to get “billionaires around the world to donate 50% of their wealth to charity or good causes.” On December 9, 2010, Buffett, Bill Gates, and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg signed a pledge they called the “Gates-Buffett Giving Pledge” in which they promise to donate at least half of their wealth to charity and invite other wealthy people to follow their example.
In November 2022, Buffett donated $750 million in Berkshire Hathaway stock to four charitable foundations managed by his children. 1.5 million Class B shares of his conglomerate Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, named after his first wife. He also transferred 300,000 Class B shares each to three funds managed by his children: the Sherwood Foundation, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation and the NoVo Foundation.
