And the success of the musician “Ice Ceiling” remained popular with Russians for many consecutive years. Now the 82-year-old composer is still working and will not retire.
But more than about his work, Eduard Semenovich is ready to talk about his personal life. And this is not surprising, because this year his marriage to his wife Eulalila turned 60 years old. The future spouses met in the village of Pugachevka. The capricious and persistent Hanok did not immediately please the girl, who, by the way, was studying piano at a music school at that time. They spent two full years apart before getting back together and getting married immediately.
True, the couple’s family life was strange at first. A few months after the wedding, Hanok left to study at the Moscow Conservatory. For five full years, husband and wife spent apart, meeting only occasionally. Then Eduard Semenovich moved to his Lyalya in Krivoy Rog and found work in a local institute as a teacher at the Faculty of Music. Soon the Hanok couple had a daughter, Ruslana. And almost immediately there was a great split in the family.
“I was in a relationship at work with a plump aunt who sunk into my soul. In short, I got carried away. It was a divorce. On Friday, Lyalya and I submitted the documents, but there was no money for the tax. It was a small amount of money, but then there was none of that. I was a beggar, one might say. It was then that I took a walk when the whole country sang the song “Ice Ceiling”. I made up my mind: on Monday I will receive my salary, pay the dues and divorce. But over the weekend he changed his mind and went back to his wife. Lyalya got a little worried and calmed down. There was no major tragedy, to be honest. I’m back “, the composer now remembers.
After so many years of family life, Eduard Semenovich is ready to carry his wife in his arms. They have children for a long time (in addition to Ruslana, the couple raised daughter Svetlana and son Alexei. – About ed). Like almost all couples, they have quarrels, but there are no serious scandals. After 60 years of marriage, Eulaliea Hanok has learned to cope with all of her husband’s bad character traits. As the composer himself admits, she lives with pleasure as a troubled man in the family.
Eduard Semenovich also does not complain about his career and financial situation. “Thank God, the Russian Authors’ Society pays well, with which you can live comfortably,” the musician openly admitted. In addition, Hanok, despite his age, organizes creative evenings. He loves the composer and interacting with the new generations. He also with pleasure he performs fashionable hits of our time.
“For young people, in a purely formal way, I sing my songs to remember who I am, and then I express myself: I perform a potpourri of 27 modern hits.
