Sacred in 2019 and 2021, Asvel found the Coupe de France on Wednesday February 16 with the reception of Vichy-Clermont, resident of Pro B, for a place in the quarter-finals. The Villeurbannais won 90 to 70.
Opposed to Asvel in the Coupe de France, Wednesday February 16, the Vichy-Clermont team was no match for the club of Tony Parker titled in 2019 and 2021 in the competition. On their Astroballe floor, the Villeurbannais won 90 to 70 against their evening opponent who plays in Pro B, the division lower than his, but of which he has the best defense.

TJ Parker’s players largely dominated the first half, before falling significantly in pace in the second half, but still joined other Elite residents in the quarter-finals, like Monaco, Strasbourg or even Pau-Orthez. The draw will take place this Friday.
