ASUS Unveils World’s First 34″ OLED Monitor with 240Hz Refresh Rate: The ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM

ASUS continues to introduce monitors that are “world’s first”. The next model that debuted at Gamescom 2023 is called the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM.

What is known

We’ve already featured the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM as the world’s first 4K UHD 240Hz OLED monitor. Part number PG34WCDM is the first monitor to feature a 34” OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate.

This monitor, unlike the previous one, is equipped with a curved display. The radius of curvature was 800R. The OLED matrix has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, a response time of 0.03ms (GtG), as well as NVIDIA G-SYNC support and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM received a KVM switch, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 Type-A. The USB Type-C connector supports the Power Delivery protocol. The power is 90 watts.

Price and when to expect

Sales of ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM will begin next year. The cost of the monitor has not yet been specified.
