ASUS unveils Turbo GeForce RTX 3090 – a flagship graphics card with a “turbine” and an all-copper radiator

ASUS has unveiled the Turbo GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card (model TURBO-RTX3090-24G), designed specifically for use in systems with limited internal space and difficult air circulation.

The graphics accelerator is equipped with a specially designed shroud to optimize airflow. The cooling system combines a highly efficient tangential fan, popularly mistakenly referred to as a “turbine”, with a copper radiator and a vapor chamber.

The “heart” of the video card is the NVIDIA GA102 chip with Ampere architecture. The configuration provides for the use of 10,496 CUDA cores and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory with a 384-bit bus.

In Gaming Mode, the core frequency of the chip reaches 1695 MHz, in OC Mode – 1725 MHz. To work with the accelerator, it is recommended to use a power supply unit with a capacity of at least 750 W.

During the manufacture of the novelty, the automated production process Auto-Extreme is used. Three DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1 are available. The dimensions of the accelerator are 268 × 113 × 39 mm.

There is no information about the estimated price of ASUS Turbo GeForce RTX 3090 yet.
