ASUS is preparing to release a new generation of ExpertCenter PN65 mini-computers. Nettops of this series will be equipped with 14th generation Intel Core processors. This confirms the promotional slide of the company, which shared informant @momomo_us.
The current ASUS ExpertCenter PN64 nettop models are equipped with Raptor Lake mobile processors of the Core i7-13800H, Core i7-13700H, Core i5-13600H and Core i5-13500H models with a TDP of 35W. Future ExpertCenter PN65 models will feature processors rated at 28W. It should be remembered that Intel mobile processors are represented by models H, P and U. Which ones will be offered as part of the ExpertCenter PN65 is still unknown. At the same time, it is not at all necessary that we are talking about the Meteor Lake series. It is known that Intel will apply a new processor model naming scheme for the Meteor Lake series, and PC manufacturers probably already know this. In addition, Intel is expected to release an updated series of Raptor Lake Refresh processors this year, so they can also be used in the same ExpertCenter PN65 nettops. This is also hinted at by the indication of integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics in the specifications of future ASUS nettops, and not Arc, which will be used in Meteor Lake chips. However, no options can be ruled out just yet.
The new mini PCs will also support DDR5-5600 memory modules with the ability to install up to 32 GB of RAM, will offer two M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSDs ranging from 256 GB to 2 TB, as well as one 2.5-inch HDD with a capacity of 1 or 2 TB .
The equipment of the novelty will also include a 2.5-gigabit network adapter and support for Wi-Fi 6E. The front panel of ExpertCenter PN65 will be represented by a set of one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A and a combined 3.5 mm audio output. The rear panel will have one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with DipslayPort alternative function, two HDMIs, one USB 3.2 Gen2, two USB 2.0 and one port to choose from (additional HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4, COM, VGA or another 2.5- gigabit network LAN).
