4K resolution, a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a panel burn guarantee are just some of the features Asus offers with the new QD-OLED screen ROG Swift PG32UCDM. The less attractive factor with the 32-inch screen is the price, which is 17,990 kroner at Swedish retailers.
Alienware, which recently launched its own 32-inch QD-OLED screen, uses the same panel as the Asus counterpart, but costs SEK 13,990. Another possible factor for the high price is Asus’s display is the first ROG display to offer Dolby Vision, which should also come to the Alienware display later with an update.
MSI’s QD-OLED screen is also a cheaper alternative to Asus’ own, as it costs SEK 11,990 for similar specifications and also includes a three-year panel burn-in warranty.
Right now, the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM can be pre-ordered and will appear on store shelves in March.
