Selular.ID – Rumor has it that the Asus ROG Phone 6 will arrive on July 5, 2022.

Asus claims that its latest smartphone will carry IPX4 certification which is splash-resistant.

Through the official Asus ROG Twitter account, the company claims that the ROG Phone 6 is the world’s first IPX4 gaming phone.

The ROG Phone 6 was recently certified as a gaming phone by TENAA. There are revealed more details such as a 6.78 ″ screen size, 18 GB RAM and 512 GB storage capacity.

The circulating design depicts a smartphone facing up with the screen wet by water drops. The image appeared on ROG Global’s twitter account on June 24, 2022.

The ROG Phone 6 feature that has been confirmed previously is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is even claimed to be the first phone to use the services of the latest chip from Qualcomm.

The AMOLED screen will have a refresh rate of 165 Hz. In addition, the cooling capability of the device will be improved.

It is also seen that the device has a 64 MP main camera on the back, and a 12MP selfie unit. While the battery capacity is 6,000 mAh.

The smartphone was also spotted on Geekbench with Android 12 and 16GB RAM, while 3C revealed the phone will support 65W charging.

Reportedly, events organized by Asus to announce the ROG Phone 6 will be held in Taipei, Berlin, and New York.
