Asus ROG Phone 6 comes with IPX4

In its upload on Twitter, Asus claims that the latest ROG Phone will be the world’s first splash-resistant gaming phone.

Asus preparing to launch ROG Phone 6 globally in the near future. This device has been confirmed to launch officially on July 5 and the company has released a teaser for some of the features of this one device.

Now, ROG Global has uploaded a new teaser tweet from cell phone that game claims that the upcoming ROG Phone 6 series will be “the world’s first IPX4 gaming phone”. For information, IPX4 certification means that this phone is resistant to water splashes from all directions.

So far, the device has appeared on TENAA and Geekbench revealing most of its specifications. Reported from Gizmochina (27/6), this phone is expected to come with a screen AMOLED 6.78 inches with Full HD+ resolution. The display panel will also offer a 165 Hz refresh rate and house a fingerprint scanner for security.

In it, ROG Phone 6 will feature chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 paired with up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is expected to come with a 6,000 mAh battery and support 65W fast charging.

For photography, the device is said to have three camera 64 megapixel rear and 12 megapixel front camera. In addition, this device is also expected to come with a secondary screen on the back. More details about the phone are expected to be revealed at its launch on July 5.
