The ROG Phone 5s series features the Air Trigger 5 control system for control while gaming
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — ASUS officially released two models for the ROG Phone 52 series in Indonesia. This phone is sold starting this week at prices starting from Rp. 9 million.
ASUS Republic of Gamers continues to be committed to providing fans with products that they can always rely on in any playing conditions. “We are very proud to continue to innovate and develop ROG Phone that is tailored to the needs and desires of gamers,” said Director ASUS Southeast Asia region, Jimmy Lin, in a press release, quoted on Sunday.
ASUS launched the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro in Indonesia. Both use the Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G chip, eight-core 64-bit processor and use 5 nanometer processing technology. This chip is equipped with an Adreno 660 GPU.
The phone runs on the Android 11 operating system and the ROG UI interface. Both the regular and Pro versions have 6.78-inch screens with an aspect ratio of 20:4:9.
ASUS uses the screen from the Samsung E4 AMOLED 144Hz/1ms, with touch sampling up to 360Hz. Especially for ROG Phone 5s Pro, there is an ROG Vision feature in the form of animations that can show charging, incoming calls and X Mode activation.
The ROG Phone 5s series features the AirTrigger 5 control system for complete control during gaming. The AeroActive Cooler 5 feature is equipped with two additional physical buttons so users can play like using a game console.
On the back cover of the Pro series, there is a touch sensor feature for the L2/R2 trigger function. This function can be used with the Air Trigger 5 system and the Aero Active Cooler 5 button. The ASUS ROG Phone 5s and Pro have a 6,000 mAh battery.
ROG Phone 5s is marketed at Rp. 9,999,000 for the 8GB+128GB version and Rp. 14,999,000 for the 12GB+256GB version. Meanwhile, the Pro version is sold for Rp. 18,999,000 with a capacity of 18GB + 512GB.
