ASUS is showing off a new ROG Azoth keyboard at CES. This 75% keyboard will have swappable switches, a small OLED screen, and a gasket mount housing. The ROG Azoth will be available at the end of January.
It ASUS ROG Azoththe keyboard gets a 75% design, where the entire number pad is missing and the right side of the keyboard has been shortened further. The keyboard comes with ROG NX switches, which come from the factory pre-lubricated It will be delivered. ROG Azoth also features hot-swappable sockets, making it compatible with other MX-style switches. ASUS itself offers blue, brown and red switches, respectively with clickable, tactile in linear typing feel. The keyboard also comes with PBT keycaps, which ASUS says have a “cherry-like” profile.
The keyboard has a small 2″ OLED screen. This display can be set via the ASUS Armory Crate to show custom animations, among other things, as well as things like CPU temperature or keyboard battery level. The keyboard can connect to a PC via Bluetooth, a 2.4GHz connection, or USB-C. The keyboard housing also contains a silicone gasket with three layers of foam that should provide a cushioned typing experience. ASUS doesn’t mention a price suggested retail.
