Asus will release a variant of its ZenBook 14 in August with an AMD Ryzen 4500U processor. The laptop gets 8GB of LPDDR4x memory, a 512GB SSD and a suggested retail price of 799 euros. In July, Asus releases its updated ZenBook Pro Duo with Intel CPUs.
The ZenBook 14 variant will be Asus’ first laptop with Ryzen 4000U processor. Earlier, the manufacturer already released gaming laptops with the Ryzen 4000H processors. These are variants with a higher tdp. For the time being, there will be one configuration of the ZenBook 14 with Ryzen 5 4500U in Belgium and the Netherlands. That is a hexacore with smt and a maximum clock speed of 4GHz. It has a Vega 6 GPU running at 1500MHz.
AMD announced its early this year Ryzen 4000U processors made on 7nm but laptops incorporating them are not yet for sale in the Netherlands and Belgium. There are a dozen laptops with the new processors in the Pricewatch, but it is not yet known when they will be available. The ZenBook 14 with AMD CPU is also late until August.
Asus released the ZenBook 14 early this year with a Ryzen 5 3500U processor. That variant also has the same specifications and costs 749 euros. The configuration with Ryzen 5 4500U is fifty euros more expensive, but the new processor has more cores, has a higher clock speed and is made on a smaller process.

Asus also announces that two versions of the ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 will be released in July. These second-screen laptops will receive tenth-generation Intel Core H processors and an RTX 2060 GPU. The top model costs 3599 euros and there is a variant for 2999 euros. Tweakers published one last year review of the ZenBook Pro Duo UX580. The first version is almost the same as the new models, but has ninth-generation CPUs.
