Chinese technology manufacturer Asus, released laptop specifically for children in Indonesia, namely the Asus BR1100, Thursday (10/6). The touch screen laptop is claimed to have durable specifications and is priced starting at IDR 4,944 million.
BR1100 is said to have specifications to support children’s daily learning activities. In addition, Asus also provides a series of special features that are claimed to be safe for children to use.
Asus Regional Director Southeast Asia, Jimmy Lin said that laptops are a supporting device for children’s learning activities, especially now that teaching and learning activities are almost carried out on a daily basis. online through distance learning (PJJ).
“Asus BR1100 comes with a tough design and has been equipped with various features that allow learning activities to be carried out more interactively,” he said in a written statement, Thursday (10/6).
Asus BR1100CKA and Asus BR1100FKA are designed to maximize children’s learning. Both are claimed to have various special safety modules that are safe to use for children.
The two latest laptops have designs that are considered tough and have special security modules. One of the safety modules is a protective rubber layer around the body so that it can absorb impacts.
In addition, both have features spill-resistant keyboard which is claimed to be able to continue to function even when exposed to liquid spills.
The Asus BR1100 series is certified to pass the US military standard endurance test (MIL-STD-810H). The laptop is said to have passed various extreme tests with US military standards, ranging from the use of extreme temperature tests to impact and vibration tests.
On connectivity, the Asus BR1100 series uses WiFi 6 which is claimed to have data transfer speeds and better connectivity quality than the previous generation. In addition, it is equipped with AI technology noise canceling, which is claimed to eliminate noise around the user, when making a video call.
The battery is claimed to last up to 10 hours of use, the Asus BR1100 is also equipped with port for support, namely USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, and 3.5mm audio jack for output additional audio.
Asus provides options upgrade in the form of an additional M.2 slot that can accommodate a high-speed SSD with a capacity of up to 1TB. This laptop has dimensions of 29.46 x 20.49 x 1.99 and different weights, namely the Asus BR1100CKA weighs 1.26 kilograms while the Asus BR1100FKA weighs 1.4 kilograms.
Both also have different camera specifications. The Asus BR1100FKA has two cameras with 13MP and 720p HD configurations equipped with a privacy shutter, while the Asus BR1100CKA has one 720p HD camera with a privacy shutter.
These two laptops are priced at different prices. The Asus BR1100CKA is priced starting at Rp. 4,944 million and the Asus BR1100FKA is priced from Rp. 5.749 million.
