Asus has introduced ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro – upgraded variants of the gaming mobiles launched in March. The phones offer overclocked Snapdragon 888 Plus instead of the usual Snapdragon 888.
The Pro model has 18GB LPDRR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also offers a small color screen on the back. 5s has several different memory configurations, up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Another novelty is that the sampling frequency of the screen has been increased from already high 300Hz to 360Hz, so that the screen responds to pressure even faster. Other components must be the same as in the predecessors, which it is possible to read more about here.
According to Asus, the new models will go on sale when the others are sold out.
