Taiwanese manufacturer ASUS has introduced PG32UQ ROG Swift IPS gaming monitor with 4K resolution and two HDMI 2.1 interfaces. The novelty is equipped with a 32-inch matrix with a pixel density of 138 PPI (dots per inch), has a fast response of 1 ms (GtG) and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.
The presence of two HDMI 2.1 means that the panel can be used with the latest game consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. For its novelty, the Taiwanese manufacturer claims 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The company assures that each PG32UQ ROG Swift monitor will be calibrated for Delta E <2 color accuracy before being sent to the store.
Among other things mentioned are the VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, and compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync. In addition, the manufacturer claims the presence of the novelty’s proprietary Variable Overdrive function, which reduces the response time of a matrix pixel to change one color to another.
The equipment of the monitor also includes a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, a pair of USB connectors and an audio output. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet announced anything about the price and date of the PG32UQ ROG Swift monitor.
