Asus Officially Releases Zenfone 10 in Indonesia: Features, Specs, and Price

KOMPAS.com – As promised, Asus officially released the Zenfone 10 cellphone in Indonesia on Friday (29/7/2023). This smartphone can now be purchased through official Asus sales partners online and offline.

Carrying the slogan “Mighty on Hand”, Zenfone 10 emphasizes a small and compact design with an OLED screen (2,400 x 1,080 pixels, 144 Hz) measuring 5.9 inches. The weight is slightly higher than the Zenfone 9, but it is still relatively light at 172 grams.

In a written statement received by KompasTekno, Asus Regional Director Southeast Asia Jimmy Lin said that the Zenfone 10 is a device that suits Indonesia’s digital lifestyle.

“With Zenfone 10, we present a smartphone that combines high performance and advanced features to meet the needs of modern users in Indonesia,” said Lin.

The design of the Zenfone 10 can be said to be still identical to the Zenfone 9. The difference lies in the System-on-Chip used, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, an increase from Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in its predecessor.

The Zenfone 10 battery still has a capacity of 4,300 mAh like the Zenfone 9, but its durability is claimed to have increased by 12.9 percent. The 30 watt fast charging feature is also maintained, with additional 15 watt wireless charging.

The Zenfone 10’s main camera still relies on a Sony IMX 766 50 MP (f/1.9) sensor with 6-axis gimbal stabilization, but Asus claims to have improved its stability so that it is claimed to be able to produce smoother recordings.

Meanwhile, the Zenfone 10’s ultra wide camera now has a resolution of 13 MP (f/2.2) and a 120 degree wide field of view. The front camera resolution has also increased to 32 MP (f/2.5) with 8 MP pixel binning output.

Asus offers the Zenfone 10 in 5 color choices, namely Midnight Black, Comet White, Starry Blue, Aurora Green and Eclipse Red.

There are two memory variants of the Zenfone 10, namely 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage which is available in all color choices and 16 GB/512 GB which is only available in the Midnight Black color choice.

In Indonesia, the price of the Asus Zenfone 10 8 GB/128 GB is IDR 8,999,000, while the 16 GB/512 GB variant is priced at IDR 11,999,000.
