Asus has officially launched the ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate gaming phones. The processor it uses is the Dimensity 9000+ along with other features.
After a few days ASUS launched a teaser, a series ASUS ROG 6D phone officially launched globally. This range consists of two models, namely ROG Phone 6D and ROG 6D Ultimate.
As revealed by teasers and leaks, Asus’ new gaming phone is powered by a flagship chipset MediaTekNot Qualcomm. This phone comes with some minor changes.

However, the maximum variant is limited to 16GB and 12GB of RAM for ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate respectively. In comparison, the regular ROG 6 and 6 Pro have up to 16GB and 18GB of RAM respectively.
Both ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate offer connectivity Bluetooth 5.3, not Bluetooth 5.2. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate has a slot on the back, which can be opened and used with the AeroActive Cooler accessory (included in the sales package) to lower the temperature. AeroActive Portal is the official name of this new cooling system.
Aside from the differences in the specs mentioned above, the ROG Phone 6D series has the same features as the ROG Phone 6 series. AMOLED 6.78 inches with a resolution of 2,448 x 1,080 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, an in-display fingerprint sensor and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
On the back is a triple camera system consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 5MP macro camera. Meanwhile, the front of the phone houses a 12MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Connectivity options include dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi, 6E, GNSS and NFC. The phone is also equipped with 2 USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two stereo speakers, three microphones and a ROG Vision display on the back.
Both phones run on the Android 12 operating system overlaid with the ROG UI and ZenUI user interfaces. Asus promises two Android updates and 2 years of security updates. The price for the Asus ROG Phone 6D is £ 799 (Rp13.6 million) and the price for the Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is £ 1,199 (Rp20.4 million).
