Nextren.com – After leaks appeared on the internet, Asus officially launched its newest gaming smartphones, namely ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro for the Taiwan market.
Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro are predicted to be the successors of Asus ROG Phone 5.
Asus provides processor updates and several other improvements in the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro series to improve device performance.
Asus doesn’t seem to want the ROG Phone brand to lose to gaming brands belonging to other smartphone vendors.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 5s Pro carry the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888 plus.
For information, Snapdragon 888 plus is a gaming chipset with 3 CPU clusters consisting of Cortex X-1 as the super core, Cortex A78, and Cortex A55.
Snapdragon 888+ is also equipped with an Adreno 660 GPU which is claimed to be 25% faster than the Adreno 650.

Specifications of ROG Phone 5s
In design and appearance, the ROG Phone 5s is similar to the ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 5 Pro.
ROG Phone 5s has 2 RAM and storage options, users can choose 16GB/256GB and 18GB/512GB options.
In terms of screen, ROG Phone 5s adopts a 6.78-inch FULL HD Plus AMOLED panel.
The ROG Phone 5s display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.

Then on the camera section, ROG Phone 5s uses a 3 rear camera configuration consisting of a 64MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro camera.
As for the selfie camera, ROG Phone 5s uses a 24MP resolution camera.
In Taiwan, the ROG Phone 5s is available in Phantom Black and Aurora White variants.

Specifications of ROG Phone 5s Pro
The ROG Phone 5s Pro has similarities with the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate in terms of appearance.
On the back, there is a touch screen dubbed ROG Vision that can display animations and images that can be adjusted from the settings menu.
This smartphone has a configuration of RAM and internal memory that is quite large, namely 8GB / 512GB.
For other components, the ROG Phone 5s Pro has the same specifications as the ROG Phone 5s.

Second, there is the 5th generation AirTrigger that functions like the L1/R1 button on a joystick.
Third, there is a GameCool5 cooling system that is able to stabilize the temperature of the phone when users play heavy games.
