JawaPos.com – Regarding smartphone devices, Asus is arguably not so brilliant in this country. Even though it has released the ROG Phone gaming phone several times, Asus is not that prominent. In this segment, Asus has the Zenfone series. Unfortunately, the series has been in hiatus for quite a while in the homeland market and the last Zenfone series that was released was the 6 series in 2019.
Now, Asus looks more ready to return to the homeland mobile market. Asus announced that it would bring the latest Zenfone 8 series. This series is confirmed to enter the homeland market soon.
Asus will release the Zenfone 8 which can be categorized as a flagship device on 15 October. Although the launch is still next week, Asus has leaked a series of specifications for the Zenfone 8 which are claimed to be capable.
Zenfone 8 will come with a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED panel screen. Small enough for the current mobile phone trend. The screen also supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and HDR10 +.
Regarding performance, Zenfone 8 is equipped with a new Snapdragon 888 processor made by Qualcomm. With this chipset, Zenfone 8 should be accompanied by RAM and memory up to 16 GB and 256 GB already support 5G.
This smartphone carries two camera lenses, each capable of 64MP and 12MP (ultrawide), and 12MP for the selfie lens. Then what about the price? Currently, Asus is still keeping its mouth shut regarding the price of the Zenfone 8.
For your information, Asus Zenfone 8 will not be sold with an affordable price tag. As an illustration, this series is priced at EUR 599 or around Rp. 10 million in the global market with two color variants, namely obsidian black and horizon white.
