Asus is back with new models in the ROG series: ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. The difference between the two phones is mainly the memory configuration.
The Pro model has 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and a price of 1299 euros, while the ROG Phone 6 (12GB / 256GB) costs 999 euros. Those who get the Pro model also get a small programmable AMOLED panel on the back.

ROG Phone 6 is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. In fact, it is a two-piece battery. A unique feature is the dual USB-C ports: one at the bottom and one along the side.
The AMOLED screen is 6.78 ″ with 1080 x 2448 pixels, 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz sampling rate and Gorilla Glass Victus. The refresh rate can also be set to 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz.
According to Asus, the phone’s cooling system can lower the processor temperature by up to 10C. As the unit has a game focus, there are game controls, as well as forward-facing stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack.
The main camera consists of Sony IMX766 with 50MP, which is accompanied by a 13MP super wide angle camera and a 5MP macro camera. At the time of writing, Asus has not announced when the ROG Phone 6 duo will be released, but it should not be long.
