ASUS introduces new ProArt PA248QV and PA278QV professional monitors

With the ProArt PA248QV and PA278QV, ASUS has introduced two new monitors for professional use. Both monitors will use an IPS panel with a thin display frame, but offer a different diagonal. While the ProArt PA248QV has a diagonal of 24 inches, the PA278QV has 27 inches.

Due to the different display sizes, ASUS also uses different resolutions. If 1,920 x 1,200 pixels are mentioned in the smaller model, the larger model uses 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. However, there are no differences in color fidelity. According to ASUS, both monitors show 100% of the sRGB and Rec. 709 color spaces. The monitors are delivered calibrated so that they achieve a Delta-E <2.

The screens are optionally connected via DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 1.4. In addition, the PA278QV has Mini DisplayPort and DVI-D ready, while the PA248QV supports D-Sub. The height of the monitors can be adjusted for ergonomic adjustment and the angle of inclination can also be adjusted. There is also no need to do without a pivot function.

According to the manufacturer, both monitors are available immediately. The recommended retail price for the PA248QV is around 280 euros, while the PA278Q is to be sold for around 380 euros.
