ASUS gives ROG Ally native support for gyroscope controls

ASUS brings official support for gyroscope controls to the ROG Ally handheld with the Armory Crate SE update 1.4.5. The update also makes it possible to calibrate the joysticks and change the GPU Operating Mode settings via the software.

Users can use the update From now on, you can adjust general and game-specific settings for the ROG Ally’s gyroscope via the Armory Crate environment. This way, gamers can set per game whether and how the gyroscope in the handheld PC should be used. So far there was no native support for motion controls, although the option could be enabled via various third-party apps and programs without official firmware from ASUS.

Furthermore, the update introduces various calibration options for the joysticks and triggers of the ROG Ally. In Armory Crate, general settings for the deadzone of joysticks can be adjusted, as well as sensitivity settings per individual game.
