Asus Chromebook Laptop Promises Tough Body with Military Standards

Jakarta, Selular.ID – Asus has quietly launched a new 2in1 Chromebook laptop called the Asus Chromebook Detachable CZ1. This laptop is equipped with a detachable keyboard and a foldable stand on the back.

The latest Chromebook device from Asus is also equipped with stylus support which is stored in the case. This laptop is intended for users from among students.

Interestingly, Asus has equipped this laptop with military grade certification which is claimed to be strong even if it falls from a class table or dining room table. The four exterior edges and corners are protected by tough rubber trim that reduces the impact of physical shocks.

The Asus Chromebook Detachable CZ1 runs on Chrome OS and features a 10.1-inch WUXGA LCD touchscreen with full-HD (1,920×1200 pixels) resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 100 percent sRGB, and a maximum brightness of 400 nits.

The kitchen is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 500 (MT8183) processor, and is combined with an Arm Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. This Chromebook packs up to 4GB of RAM and offers up to 128GB of eMMC storage.

This laptop is also equipped with an 8-megapixel camera facing the back, and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.

This Chromebook device packs a 27Whr battery which claims to offer up to 11 hours of battery life. It weighs about 500 grams certified to US military standards MIL-STD 810H. Available in black, unfortunately Asus has not announced the price or availability of this new Chromebook laptop.
