Jakarta: Asus officially brings the latest notebook in the professional Expertbook segment to the Indonesian market. The Expertbook B3000 is the first laptop in Indonesia to adopt the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor.
Aimed at the education sector, it provides several features that are thought to be suitable for students and teachers who need to use a distance learning system.
“Currently, learning is still using the remote method. We want to answer this question with the Expertbook B3000,” said Verry Zhu, Product Manager for Notebook Commercial Asus Indonesia.

Some of the features featured are standard in the latest generation of Expertbooks, with a focus on supporting teaching and learning productivity.
One of the superior features is the 10-inch detachable OLED screen. Featuring a magnetic keyboard that is easy to remove and install, the Expertbook B3000 supports the mobility of teachers who are located in rural or remote areas.
The keyboard also offers some typical Asus features such as ErgoLift, 1.5mm key travel and anti-spill. One of the latest features is antibacterial protection and it has received ISO 22196 certification.
The ExpertStand is built into the screen, acting as both a cover and a stand for the screen. The Expertbook B3000 can work both horizontally and vertically.
As far as its durability is concerned, it is certain that this laptop meets the default military standard of the Expertbook. Asus says it’s safe when the laptop is accidentally dropped, not forgetting TUV Rheinland certification to protect eye health.
Several features of the software aspect are claimed to streamline the teaching and learning process, such as AI noise cancellation and blur mode when using Zoom.
For the specs, the Asus Expertbook B3000 uses a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor, paired with Adreno 618 GPU. It provides 8GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage. There are also cameras for the front and rear, 13MP and 5MP respectively. Weighing the screen at just 590 grams (plus a keyboard weighing around 700 grams), this laptop was officially sold for IDR 6,999,000.
