Asturias registers fourteen new positives for coronavirus | Radio Asturias

He Epidemiological Surveillance Service of the Principality has notified the Ministry of Health 14 new positive cases of coronavirus. Of these, four are related to the outbreak of a group of students who traveled to Malaga, among whom there are eight infected so far.

On the other hand, the outbreak detected in the Urban’s brewery of the Oviedo neighborhood of La Corredoria adds a new positive, which rises to 7 people affected, after having carried out about 1,300 tests among family members and customers. In this case, it is a male, close contact with one of the first infected, who remains, like the rest, isolated at home.

Apart from these two outbreaks, today the positives of three members of a family in health area V, with head in Gijón, have also been reported after a stay in Huelva; in addition to that of a man from Barcelona and those of two other men, close contacts of cases in Zaragoza and Vizcaya.

Likewise, the Epidemiological Surveillance Service is investigating the origin of three other confirmed infections, which correspond to area IV, with headquarters in Oviedo. They are a man and two women (mother and daughter), with no epidemiological link.

All those infected present mild symptoms for the time being and remain isolated in their homes.
